The Ethical eMarket criteria
Products recommended on the Ethical eMarket must meet at least one or more of the following criteria, as well as being subject to the general policies. To be considered, products should offer some distinct ecological, environmental, educational, ergonomic, scientific, artistic or social benefit, although some products are recommended just to support novel, fun, or innovative ideas, and especially products and services from resourceful individuals and small businesses. The vendors of the products must also meet ethical criteria (such as avoiding child labour, sweatshop conditions, and highly polluting manufacture). You may recommend new criteria (in the forum) or comment on existing criteria (using add comment on a criterion's page) if you join.
